2 Guys Who Don't Know Crap About Movies is the creation of writer/director Glen Weiss. An avid movie buff since the age of five when his mother took him to see “Mary Poppins”, Glen realized that, for the most part, he didn't understand what the film critics were talking about in their reviews. When Glen began studying filmmaking he started thinking about what average moviegoers like himself would say if given the opportunity to write a review. |

Partly due to his love of movies and the enjoyment he got from discussing them with his friends, he decided to start his own cable access film review show called 2 Guys Who Don't Know Crap About Movies . Glen and his original co-host, Martin Brady, decided that this should be an “everyman's” film review show and if they should start pontificating like seasoned film reviewers, they would drop a quarter in the “cuss jar” or, in their case a film canister. Besides reviewing movies, Glen and his new co-host J.D. Hart conduct weekly interviews with some of the movers and shakers in the local and regional film community. Past guests have included filmmaker Tony Vidmer (High Roller: The Stu Ungar Story), Dr. David Hinton (author of The Films Of Leni Riefenstahl), David Bennett (former head of the Tennessee Film Commission) and Steve Taylor (The Second Chance). 2 Guys Who Don't Know Crap About Movies is an entertaining and informative half-hour of reviews and interviews for the average person who just plain likes to go to movies. |
